Flower Bearing Elephant

This standing elephant, crowned with feathers and adorned with a yellow moon charm necklace, carries two baskets with flowers draped across its back. Blending strength with ceremony, the piece evokes the presence of a gentle guardian—wise, grounded, and deeply connected to the rhythms of nature and spirit.

The feathered crown suggests ritual, honour, and connection to ancient traditions, while the moon charm symbolises intuition, cycles, and transformation. the flowers become offerings from the earth itself, representing abundance, gratitude, and reverence for the natural world.

Both playful and symbolic, the sculpture carries a quiet sense of magic and remembrance, inviting reflection on our relationship with animals, nature, and the sacredness woven through the living world.

Inspired by figurative art, African heritage, and a twist of fantasy, my sculptures embody the tension between loss and hope, reality and mythology. They represent freedom, resilience, and the ever-present struggle to adapt. Through clay, I aim to give movement to stillness, to capture the echo of hooves against the sky, and to tell stories of creatures no longer bound by earth, but transformed in the pursuit of survival.

this piece  is expertly crafted from stoneware clay and meticulously finished with underglaze and highlights of gloss glaze  this  creature  is the perfect sculpture for whimsical and quirky home decor lovers, and is sure to spark conversations and bring a touch of magic and fun to any room.

Please note the flowers are not included, the baskets are waterproof and will hold live flowers, crystals,  or even small succulents or cacti chic is something I can help with if that is your desired option.
